Syros Island
The island of festivals, culture & art
ITDP's Greece Summer 2025 seminar program will be located in the port-town of Ermoupoli on the island of Syros. It was named after Hermes, the god of merchants and messengers.
Syros' neoclassical architecture, brightly colored mansions, and cosmopolitan vibe set it apart from other Cycladic islands. It is widely recognized in Greece as an artistic and cultural capital.
Syros' location will give participants easy access to traditional Greek life, stunning beaches, vibrant night-life, authentic food, and quick ferry transport to Athens and surrounding Cycladic Islands. ITDP will suggest optional recreational activities on Syros such as an island tour and beach hopping opportunities for enrolled participants.
