Syros Island

ITDP's Greece Summer 2022 seminar program will be located in the port-town of Ermoupoli on the island of Syros. It was named after Hermes, the god of merchants and messengers.
Syros' neoclassical architecture, brightly colored mansions, and cosmopolitan vibe set it apart from other Cycladic islands. It is widely recognized in Greece as an artistic and cultural capital.
This convenient location will give students easy access to traditional Greek life, stunning beaches, vibrant night-life, authentic food, and quick ferry transport to Athens and surrounding Cycladic Islands. ITDP will announce optional recreational activities on Syros such as an island tour and beach hopping opportunities for enrolled students.
