Registration, Costs and Housing FAQs
What is the legal business name: ITDP is a branch of International Dance Project. International Theatre & Dance Project refers to the program title. Please make all checks payable to our legal business name International Dance Project or IDP.
Who can register?: This program is appropriate for students with a passion for theatre and/or dance between the ages of 18-25. Enrollment is limited; students outside of this age bracket should inquire and will be considered on an individualized basis. International Theatre & Dance Project is committed to equality of educational opportunities and does not discriminate against applicants, students, or faculty staff based on race, national origin, religion, sex, or disability.
Chaperones: If accepted, students under 18 must be accompanied by their own chaperone(s) or submit a chaperone waiver. Students ages 18+ should attend with a chaperone if they require specific health, assisted living, and/or self-care needs, or have difficulty with the demands of Greece's climate and landscape, as ITDP is unable to offer personalized assistance in these areas.
How to enroll?: Students are enrolled when their registration form is complete and their tuition is paid in full.
When to enroll: Discounted early enrollment applications are due by January 17, 2025. Standard enrollment will close when enrollment is filled or by April 15, 2024.
How can I hold a spot?: Email registration form, cover letter, and audition materials to ITDPGreece@gmail.com. Submit payment on Square (additional fees apply for electronic transactions) or send a check made out to IDP via mail. You will receive a confirmation email once your materials are received. Deposits will be refunded ONLY if an applicant is not accepted into the program.
Can the island change once I've enrolled?: Yes—although this has never happened during any ITDP program, it is important for all applicants to understand that island life in Greece can be unpredictable. ITDP reserves the right to change the program host island if issues beyond our control (civil unrest, climate change, acts of God, water shortages, earthquakes, transportation strikes, disease/illness outbreaks, or any other situation deemed problematic by ITDP leadership) prevent ITDP from being able to safely provide quality programming. In this situation, enrolled participants would be well-informed of the change, but not refunded.
