APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS & PROCESS
An application is not complete until this signed registration form, audition submission, and deposit are received.
ITDP will only refund a tuition deposit if an applicant is not accepted to the program
Accepted applicants will be invoiced to pay a housing deposit of $600 within 2-weeks of acceptance
Tuition Balances are due by March 16, 2026
Housing Balance schedule will follow via email
ENROLLMENT
Enrollment cannot be assigned or transferred by the applicant to another without an acceptable reason and the written consent of IDP / ITDP director. Once tuition and housing or other payments are made to ITDP, they are non-refundable.
PAYMENT
Full non-refundable deposit must accompany this application for consideration. The applicant agrees to pay all fees under the conditions of this application. Tuition and housing fees, paid or outstanding, are non-refundable after dates outlined, even in the event of absence, withdrawal, or dismissal from the program. Tuition must be paid in full to guarantee a place in the program. If an individual wishes to withdraw from the program at a later date, they may do so but shall receive no reimbursement or refund.
PROVISIONS
ITDP programming is providing the following under tuition costs: all seminar classes in Andros and Athens, Greece, orientation/farewell dinners, Acropolis Tour & Tickets, Metro tickets to Athens studio, and Private Charter Bus in between Athens housing and group ferries and Andros housing and group ferries Piraeus Port on July 24 & Aug 8, 2026.
CUSTOMS AND REGULATIONS
ITDP will provide some resources prior to the trip, but it is the responsibility of the participant to become familiar with and abide by the customs regulations of the countries involved.
TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION
Participants are responsible for ensuring proper documentation for travel
Participants are responsible for booking their flights to and from Greece, however, ITDP will connect participants with a travel agent and, by request, with other participants traveling from the same areas.
Participants are responsible for managing their baggage between locations (ie. from the hotel into the charter bus, from the bus onto the ferry, from transfer stops to hotel doors). We ask participants not to bring an amount of baggage that they cannot wheel a few blocks or carry up a flight of stairs without guaranteed assistance.
If participant is under age 18, the participant shall be accompanied by an adult guardian/chaperone for program entirety or must request an under-18 chaperone waiver.
ARRIVALS
ITDP programming officially beings at check-in at the Athens group hotel on July 20, 2026. ITDP will facilitate optional airport transfers to the hotel on July 20, 2026. These transfers are at an additional cost. ITDP will be in ongoing touch with the transfer company and participants to be sure they find their drivers. ITDP faculty and staff will greet participants upon their arrival at the hotel to assist with check-in.
DEPARTURES
ITDP programming officially ends after check-in at the final group hotel on August 8, 2026. ITDP will facilitate optional airport transfers to final departing flights on August 9, 2026. These transfers are included in the ITDP housing package. Participants will be responsible for meeting their transfers at the assigned pick-up location and at the assigned time. If the participant misses their schedule transfer, it will be their responsibility to make alternative arrangements. Participants staying beyond this date or departing earlier or from a different location than the group hotel are responsible for their own travel arrangements and supervision while in Greece and beyond.
THEATRICAL PREPARATION
Participants will be given supplemental material to prepare and familiarize themselves with for individual classes after the April 15, 2026 admission cut-off. All participants will be expected to have movement-permitting clothing and proper footwear. More information to follow.
CAUSE FOR DISMISSAL FROM CLASSES, HOUSING, OR ITDP PROGRAM
Substance abuse of any kind will not be tolerated at ITDP. Any student using or possessing illegal substances while enrolled in the program will be dismissed immediately and no refunds of any kind will be made.
There is to be no underage consumption of alcohol by underage ITDP students during any IDP / ITDP hosted events (e.g. ITDP classes, ITDP hosted dinners, or other ITDP hosted activities).
Sexual harassment, physical and verbal assault of any kind will not be tolerated at ITDP and will result in immediate dismissal from the program at the participant's expense. This includes, but is not limited to unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature, intentional acts that involve the use of violence against another person, resulting in harmful contact, verbal ridicule, manipulation, or humiliation.
Out of respect for roommates, other hotel guests, and cleaning staff, there is to be no excessive noise or trash in ITDP accommodation rooms. If it is reported to the program director that a participant is not maintaining a basic standard of cleanliness and/or hygiene within ITDP housing or respect for roommates' space and/or items, the director may request a walk-through of the participant's room. The participant may receive a warning from the program director. If the participant's hotel hygiene does not improve or significant damage is done to the accommodation or another participant's property, the director reserves the right remove the participant from ITDP housing. Arrangements for additional accommodations and costs of any damages will be at the expense and responsibility of the participant.
Disrespect to ITDP staff, its partners, vendors, facilities, and properties will not be tolerated. This includes hotel room hygiene, noise, defacing property, and aggression towards those working for and with ITDP at all points on the trip.
In the event that a participant behaves in a disruptive or inappropriate fashion at any point during ITDP programming, the participant shall receive a warning from the program director. In the event that the behavior continues a second warning may be issued OR the participant shall be dismissed from the program, at the expense of the participant, and no refund shall be offered.
All students are expected to participate in all daily seminar classes and workshops unless discussed or medically excused. Multiple unexcused absences from any class may result in the participant being unable to participant in certain classes. This will be at the discretion of the individual instructors. Decisions or plans about chronic lateness and absence issues will be determined by the program director.
RECORDING & PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE
I give permission for me/the participant to be photographed, video-taped, and/or recorded during the program. This media may be used on the Internet, on TV, in print, and in other media by IDP or sister company ACTS and by third party publications to promote the company’s business. We acknowledge that the images will be the sole property of IDP/ACTS and/or the individual photographer. IDP/ACTS shall have the right to use the participant’s name, likeness, and biographical material for advertising, promotions, and other purposes of its business.
INSURANCE
It is suggested that participants obtain medical & travel insurance.
Participants are responsible for providing their own health care, medical/accident, and travel insurance; however, ITDP will offer recommendations. IDP/ACTS is not responsible for any injury, illness, or accidents incurred en-route, while at, or returning from the summer program. Participants are responsible for their own belongings and any fees incurred due to travel disruption or personal belonging loss; IDP does not assume responsibility for belongings or money that is lost or stolen.
Emergency Medical & Release, Transportation, and Housing Plan: Items will be sent in May 2026. Participants must complete and return these forms to ITDP, including emergency contact information, medical questionnaire, and additional waivers and releases by June 5, 2026.
UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
IDP/ACTS shall not be held liable for failure in the event that such failure is caused by or due to “Act of God” or “Acts of Nature,” including but not limited to weather, acts or regulations of public authorities, labor difficulties, civil tumult, act(s) of war, strike, epidemic, interruption or delay of transportation services, or any other cause beyond the control of IDP/ACTS.
IDP/ACTS reserves the right to change the program host island if issues beyond our control (civil unrest, climate change, acts of God, water
shortages, earthquakes, transportation strikes, disease/illness outbreaks, or any other situation deemed problematic by ITDP leadership) prevent IDP/ACTS from being able to safely provide quality programming. In this situation, enrolled participants would be well-informed of the change but not refunded.
